ISLAMABAD ( Khyber Point) The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the collection of the final installment of Hajj dues under the government scheme will commence on November 3 and continue until November 10.
According to official sources, only those intending pilgrims who submit the final payment within the specified period will be eligible to perform Hajj in 2026. Applicants who fail to deposit the dues on time will have their applications canceled, and the amount from their first installment will be refunded directly to their bank accounts.
The ministry has designated 14 authorized banks across the country to facilitate the payment process. Each pilgrim is required to submit Rs 600,000 as the final installment.
Furthermore, pilgrims choosing upgraded accommodations will have to pay additional charges — Rs 200,000 per person for a double-bed family room and Rs 67,000 per person for a triple-bed family room.
Officials also confirmed that applicants will be allowed to change or upgrade their Hajj package at the time of submitting the final payment, but no modifications will be permitted after the due date.
The government’s Hajj scheme aims to ensure transparency and convenience for intending pilgrims by streamlining financial procedures through selected banking partners. Ministry representatives have urged applicants to adhere strictly to the deadline to avoid disqualification.
The announcement comes as Pakistan finalizes its preparations for the 2026 Hajj season, with authorities emphasizing improved facilities, accommodation, and transport arrangements in Saudi Arabia to ensure a smooth experience for all pilgrims.
