PESHAWAR: The Hashoo Foundation inaugurated its first-ever podcast studio in Peshawar on Wednesday, with the launch ceremony led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Faisal Khan Tarakai. The initiative is designed to promote inclusive dialogue on sustainable development and elevate grassroots voices through digital storytelling and thought leadership.
The studio marked its debut with a podcast episode focusing on the need, role, and impact of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Tarakai underscored the significance of quality early education in shaping children’s futures.
“ECE is the first step of a ladder towards holistic learning and success. If we want a bright future for our children, we must prioritize quality early education. Partners like UNICEF, Global Partnership for Education, and Hashoo Foundation are playing a critical role in making the vision of leaving no child behind a reality,” he said.
Haris Qayyum Khan, CEO of Hashoo Foundation, emphasized the transformative potential of the newly launched platform.
“The impact of Early Childhood Education goes beyond learning. It is the first step towards school readiness and drives inclusive quality education. This podcast series is an effort to bring grassroots voices to the forefront, voices that often go unheard in policy dialogues,” he noted.
The Hashoo Foundation’s podcast studio aims to serve as a space where educators, policymakers, and community representatives can engage in meaningful conversations on education, development, and social change.
