MUMBAI (Khyber Point) Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s mother, Sunanda Shetty, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after her health reportedly deteriorated suddenly on Thursday.
According to Indian media reports, Sunanda Shetty was rushed to the hospital due to health complications, where she immediately began receiving medical treatment. While the nature of her illness has not been officially disclosed, hospital sources have confirmed that she is under continuous medical observation.
The actress was seen arriving at the hospital later in the day to visit her mother. Eyewitnesses reported that Shilpa appeared visibly anxious and concerned about her mother’s condition. As of now, neither the hospital administration nor Shilpa’s family has released an official statement regarding Sunanda Shetty’s current health status.

Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, are already facing legal troubles over an ongoing financial fraud case involving an alleged scam worth INR 600 million. Indian authorities have reportedly issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Raj Kundra in connection with the investigation.
