Khuzdar, Balochistan ( Khyber Point) Pakistan Army successfully neutralized five militants belonging to the India-backed proxy group “Fitna Al-Hind” during an intelligence-based operation conducted on the night of September 14–15, security sources confirmed Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched the operation after receiving credible intelligence that militants of the India-sponsored outfit were hiding in Khuzdar.
During the operation, troops engaged in heavy fire exchange with the militants, ultimately killing all five. The slain militants had been involved in multiple terrorist attacks across the region, the statement added.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the hideout. Following the clash, security personnel carried out a clearance and sanitization operation to ensure no other militants were present in the area.
The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. “The operation is a reaffirmation of our national resolve that all terrorists and their facilitators will be brought to justice,” it said.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their professional skill and swift action. He said the successful elimination of the militants once again thwarted India’s nefarious designs in the region.
“The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces. Operations against Fitna Al-Hind terrorists will continue until their complete elimination,” the minister stated.
The development highlights Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism efforts in Balochistan, a province often targeted by externally backed militant groups aiming to destabilize the country. Security forces have vowed to intensify such operations to secure lasting peace and stability.
