Murree (Khyber Point) Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited several educational institutions in Murree on Friday, where he engaged with students in an interactive session aimed at fostering awareness and national spirit.
The visit included prominent schools such as Army Public School, Convent of Jesus and Mary, and Presentation Convent. Students from these institutions actively participated in the special session, discussing the importance of national unity, resilience, and the role of Pakistan’s youth in countering hostile narratives.
During the interaction, students expressed strong support for the armed forces, underscoring the bond between the military and the nation. “No matter how hard the enemies of the country try, they cannot drive the younger generation away from their armed forces,” one student remarked. Another added, “The Pakistan Army is part of us, and we are part of the Pakistan Army. We stand firm against every malicious intent of hostile elements.”
The DG ISPR encouraged the students to focus on education, discipline, and patriotism, highlighting the youth as the true strength of the nation. At the conclusion of the session, Lieutenant General Chaudhry raised the slogan of “Pakistan Zindabad” alongside the students, which was met with enthusiastic chants and applause.
The visit was widely appreciated by both teachers and students, who described the session as timely and necessary, given the evolving challenges faced by the country. Analysts note that such initiatives by the military help strengthen national cohesion and instill confidence in the younger generation about their critical role in the defense and progress of Pakistan.
