Lahore( Khyber Point) The case of popular TikToker Samia Hijab has taken a dramatic new turn after she released a video statement revealing that the man accused of threatening to abduct and kill her is none other than her former fiancé.
Samia recently filed a case against a young man, Hassan Zahid, accusing him of issuing death threats and attempting to kidnap her. In her latest video posted on social media, she admitted that Hassan was once her fiancé, but she ended the engagement after discovering what she described as his “true character.”
The revelation came after videos surfaced online showing Samia allegedly receiving gifts and meeting with Hassan. These clips fueled social media speculation, with critics accusing her of fabricating the abduction drama for attention. Responding to the criticism, Samia firmly denied such claims and clarified that she had never taken money from him.
Defending herself, she said: “If I had been killed like my friend Sana Yousaf, people would have shown sympathy. But because I am alive, I am being accused instead.” She further asserted that no man has the right to use force, violence, or coercion against a woman, even if she is married to him, adding that her relationship with Hassan is completely over.
Samia alleged that despite their breakup, Hassan forcefully snatched her phone, dragged her, attempted violence, and even tried to kidnap her. She described herself as being under immense psychological stress due to the ordeal and urged the public not to form judgments without knowing the full truth.
The TikToker concluded by expressing hope that justice would be served, saying she was determined to fight for her rights despite the ongoing smear campaign.
