Sydney Sweeney made a stunning appearance at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival in Georgia, where she was honored with the Spotlight Award for her performance in Christy.
The Euphoria star, 28, arrived in a striking white Stella McCartney mini dress, a chic corseted design that accentuated her toned figure and cinched waist.
The one-sleeved, thigh-high number featured a sleek, structured silhouette that perfectly complemented her newly cropped blonde bob.
She completed the look with pointed white heels, exuding effortless elegance.
Inside the Lucas Theatre for the Arts, Sweeney later switched into a strapless outfit trimmed with a petite brown belt.
Her latest appearance comes shortly after the actress addressed long-standing speculation about cosmetic procedures.
In an interview with Variety, Sweeney firmly dismissed the rumors, clarifying that she has “never gotten anything done.”
“I’m absolutely terrified of needles — no tattoos, nothing,” she said, adding, “I’m going to age gracefully.”
The Emmy-nominated actress went on to explain how public scrutiny over her looks doesn’t affect her self-image. “It’s really funny,” she said. “I’ll see online comparisons and think, ‘I was 12 in that photo –of course I look different. I’m 15 years older now!’”
Sweeney also opened up about being labeled a “sex symbol,” a term she feels often misrepresents her. “I play a lot of very divisive characters, and people think they know me, but they don’t,” she said. “When people say I’m leaning into that image, I’m like, ‘No — I just feel good, and I’m doing it for myself.’”
The actress emphasized her belief in self-confidence and body positivity: “I hope I can inspire other women to be confident and feel good about themselves — you shouldn’t have to hide or apologize for who you are.”
Sweeney is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming biopic Christy, where she transforms into boxing legend Christy Martin, gaining nearly 30 pounds for the physically demanding role. Her bold transformation and recent public statements continue to highlight her commitment to authenticity.
